My Approach to Helping
Whether you are seeking lasting changes through a deeper understanding of self or a space to address specific issues that you want to resolve, I will work with you to develop a treatment plan that is both self-directed and unique to you as an individual. I take an integrative and holistic approach to treatment utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic techniques including psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). While I treat clients with a wide range of issues, my specialties include anxiety disorders, mood disorders and relationship issues. I believe a rewarding therapeutic experience always begins with the relationship between client and therapist. For this reason, my first priority is to create a space in which you will feel comfortable and safe enough to openly engage in the therapeutic process.
