My Approach to Helping

Have you found yourself at a crossroads in your life? Are you experiencing anxiety, depression, or struggling to find happiness in your relationships? I am here to help. I use a strengths-based approach to therapy and believe that people are geared toward healing and growth. While providing resources and tools for healing, I support clients on their journey towards health and well-being.

More Info About My Practice

I work with individuals, couples, families, and children from diverse backgrounds facing a number of challenges. It is important to find a therapist that best suits you and your needs. I offer a free 20-minute consultation to help you get a sense for my therapeutic style and discuss ways I can best meet your needs.

My Therapy Focus

As a framework for therapy, I use a family systems approach. This approach asserts that we are all interconnected; relationships, families, and societal influences all impact who we are, and lasting change comes from a deeper understanding of these connections. I also believe in the importance of nurturing the relationship we have with ourselves. While promoting self-compassion, I help clients better understand themselves, their needs, and their deepest aspirations.

I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1 trained therapist as well as an EMDR therapist. IFS and EMDR are therapeutic modalities that take a compassionate approach to relieving a variety of symptoms, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, and post traumatic symptoms. I also have specialized training in Gottman (Level 1) couples therapy and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. I use these research-based therapeutic practices, along with many others to cater to each client's personal needs and foster growth. I believe that each client has the resources and knowledge inside of them that is needed to reach their greatest potential.

I strive to help each person find and utilize these resources in order to achieve their goals and enhance happiness. I have a great respect and compassion for each client and strive to create an atmosphere that is conducive to growth and healing. Let me help support you in achieving your goals and accessing your greatest potential.
