My Approach to Helping
Fear is often a reality when the truth is concealed. Anxiety, depression, addiction, etc. can manifest by keeping individuals in fear and bondage to the unknown. There is liberty when fear is confronted. I am an LMFT with more than 10 years of experience working with a diverse population. Utilizing a Jungian and humanistic approach through care and empathy, I provide a safe place to be transparent. I apply my keen active listening skills to uncover the root of an issue and to decrease symptoms and behaviors.
I provide clinical individual, family, and couple’s therapy. The population with which I have experience are adults, teenagers, couples, and families, who may be experiencing communication barriers, roadblocks, self-esteem issues, schoolwork stress, relationship conflicts, single parenting, faith-based issues, parenting concerns, and trauma just to name a few. I use different modalities depending on the situation and the treatment unit, as I feel each situation is unique and treatment should be focused and tailored.
