My Approach to Helping
Transitions are a natural progression in life, which at times can leave us feeling alone, overwhelmed and terrified. Much like the seasons; our hopes, dreams and relationships change. Maneuvering through these chapters in our lives can be a daunting process. In my experience, when a person can share their struggles within therapy, they can begin to better understand their thoughts, emotions, and how this influences their relationships with others.
I practice from a Psychodynamic perspective, approaching therapy holistically, whereby my focus encompasses all pieces of your story. I believe a vital part of the therapy process is the relationship built between the two of us, by which we can bridge an authentic relationship and begin exploring your experiences. Through this process, I have found we can then begin developing insight, encourage authenticity, and promote healing.
