My Approach to Helping
The current COVID-19 Pandemic has changed our lives on so many levels. It has brought with it its own set of challenges that we may not have been prepared for. Whether you struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or any other issue, you should know that there is hope for a better tomorrow. I have worked with people just like you, who feel overwhelmed day to day. People who would love to reduce these negative emotions and start to feel in control again and re-energized. I have been a practicing psychotherapist for over 16 years. I have conducted workshops on managing stress, anger, setting goals, assertiveness and the use of various relaxation techniques. I have worked with people suffering from depression, stress and anxiety and have helped people make significant behavioral and emotional changes. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques, and MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction).
Sometimes, even the strongest people among us need a little bit of help to work through some of life’s more challenging problems. I offer individual psychotherapy, to adults struggling with anxiety, depression & stress. I also work with first responders and caregivers of people with special needs, who often feel alone in their struggles.
