Through compassion and humor, I will work with you to cultivate the unique and special relationship between therapist and client that will help guide you. While I feel that anyone could use the extra support and insight therapy provides, my specialities include issues related to college, jobcareer, parenting and women’s issues.
I am a mother and can offer a special understanding of what parents and pregnant people experience. I offer an eclectic approach, borrowing from CBT, mindfulness, relational, attachment-focused, and other modalities. My approach is based on the individual needs of each client, rather than one-size-fits-all.
I come from a place of cultural humility, respecting gender, sexuality, social and racial justice. Rather than pathologizing, I will support you as you identify and then build upon your strengths.
