My Approach to Helping
The challenges we face in life can be tough to navigate on our own. As a therapist, it is my mission to consistently establish a warm atmosphere where my clients can experience compassion and empathy. I believe therapy is a place where clients can feel accepted, heard and understood especially when they are overwhelmed by life stressors, societal pressure or relational conflicts. I am gratified to empower my clients in finding their voices, building confidence, resiliency and acquiring harmony in areas of life that are turbulent.
Collaboratively, my clients and I will gain awareness of patterns that hold them back, and discover new ways of relating and communicating. I am experienced in helping clients develop positive perspective and healthy coping skills so that they can learn to manage feelings of anxiety, anger and depression; lead a fulfilling life.
It is my passion to support clients so they can reach holistic health – emotional, and physical well-being. In session, I am culturally-sensitive and utilize evidence-based modalities such as CBT, psychodynamic, and mindfulness. With a culturally sensitive and evidence-based approach, I consider it a privilege to journey alongside my clients as they heal from the past so that they can succeed and thrive in the present as well as the future.
