My Approach to Helping
I have experience working in the counseling profession in human services for many years. I specialize in coping strategies for individuals facing depression, anxiety, stress, career/work life balance, adjustment to disability. I utilize a variety of techniques involving cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy. with an eclectic approach. I also will work with you on basic psychoeducation and helping to develop healthy lifestyle changes involving diet, sleep and exercise to help promote optimal mental health. I believe in a holistic natural approach to mental health counseling involving health, wellness, social support, career/finances and spirituality.
