My Approach to Helping

Welcome to my practice. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship to nurture change. I offer my clients a warm, collaborative, judgment-free environment where they can comfortably explore their challenges. I foster insight, offer support, and collaborate with my clients to establish new coping skills to effect meaningful change in their lives.

I provide individual psychotherapy for adults who are facing a wide range of concerns. I welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and identities. I specialize in helping my clients manage anxiety, depression, identity issues, relationship concerns, and working with the LGBT community as an affirming therapist. I also have experience working in university counseling centers, which offers me unique insight into the issues facing undergraduates, graduate students, and young professionals.

More Info About My Practice

I offer free phone consultations of 10 to 15 minutes to evaluate my clients' needs and offer information about my approach to my work. I spend most of my time in a university setting, with a small private practice on the side. I am available Wednesday afternoons and on weekdays before 9am and after 5pm.

I have offices in two locations: on the Georgetown University main campus and in the heart of Dupont Circle just steps from the Dupont Circle South metro exit.
