My Approach to Helping
If you're looking for high-quality care with a Christian therapist, you've come to the right place! I am a Stanford and Berkeley-trained clinical psychologist, and my goal is to provide you with biblically-informed, evidence-based psychological services. That way, you don’t have to make a compromise between quality and your Christian worldview.
More Info About My Practice
In all therapies at my practice, we start with the assumption that Christianity is true. I offer individual, couple, and group therapies, including new Christian therapies that I am developing. Some new groups this year include the Hearing God group, the Better Boundaries group, and a pre-marital counseling group. DC and MD residents are welcome.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
Married couples will find a refreshing change of pace in the new Personality Focused Therapy. You'll dive deeper than surface-level personality results into each other's psychological wiring and get to know each other so well that you will feel in-sync and equipped to face any challenge together.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
The core phase of Personality-Focused Therapy (the primary therapy administered at the practice) consists of six sessions. Clients who choose to be in therapy for longer tend to work on one goal at a time and use around six sessions for each goal. You can also work on one goal, stop therapy, and resume at another time in the future to work on a different goal.
