I have been a licensed and practicing psychologist for more than 15 years. I have a great deal of experience assisting clients in reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression and general issues related to mood disturbance. I also work with clients on broader issues such as relationship concerns, improved communication skills, loss, short term crises, transition regarding change and stress management.

In addition to my private practice, I also draw from a background in the corporate world. I spent time as a consulting psychologist in the areas of professional development and leadership assessment. These experiences have helped address the multifaceted concerns relating to the demands of organizational settings. Some of the issues include identifying needs regarding life balance, improved communication skills and enhancing internal resources to better meet the demands of the work setting.

I draw from a number of clinical approaches to help you achieve your desired goals in treatment and frequently use a framework that relies on cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic techniques. It's often helpful to explore past experience as it relates to current concerns while also learning more about belief systems, thought patterns and ways of responding to emotions that may be impeding the kind of change you would like to see in your life. Whether you are starting therapy for the first time or revisiting issues worked on in the past, please don't hesitate to call for an initial phone consultation. It would be a pleasure to speak with you.
