My philosophy is one of creating whole and loving families after adoption, trauma, and PTSD. My approach is one of collaboration with all family members on this very personal journey. I work to build the bonds of trust and love in families dealing with attachment and trauma. I also work to rebuild a life after the disruption of any traumatic event experienced by the child or family as a whole.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I am passionate about the lives of children and families that are coming together through adoption, or being torn apart by a traumatic event. The work of the child is slow but tremendously rewarding when signs of trust and love begin to shine through the confusion and pain.
My Role as a Therapist
My role is to join the family on their journey to full attachment, trust, and reconciliation of trauma. I am here to offer therapeutic tools, resources, and empathy to accomplish the goal of a connected, loving , trusting family.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
I am often the second or third therapist for a family dealing with the issues of attachment and trauma. I can say that my passion and education have surrounded these issues. I am able to validate feelings of loss and grief that often come with trauma. I have extensively studied this area of work. "I get it" and I am current in my training and knowledge of best practice in this field.
