Mental Health in Royal Oak

The Royal Oak Community Coalition (ROCC) is a grassroots organization that seeks to reduce alcohol, drug, and tobacco use in the city. It is licensed by the State of Michigan Department of Community Health. The ROCC receives county and federal funding. With support from local businesses, agencies, and volunteers, the ROCC actively works to create a healthier Royal Oak community.

The ROCC also sponsors an annual holistic health and wellness expo for community residents. The expo teaches people about holistic approaches that can help them manage pain, improve mental health, and maintain well-being. Donations received at the expo are used to assist students at the Royal Oak High School.
