If you want an easy-to-talk-with, very down-to-earth, seasoned professional to help you get to the roots of your problems and current troubles quickly, you have found the right professional. I work very fast to identify the major dynamics you may not be aware of that get in the way of you being successful in finding emotional peace, self-acceptance, and happy intimate connections.

From anxiety to sexuality, from recovery from childhood trauma to recent painful issues, learn to overcome pain and move through it fully to go forward without trying to push away uncomfortable feelings. My best skills involve quick, accurate diagnosis of the beliefs that hurt you, and ability to get couples to talk about things they have fought about for years. We have to be able to feel normal even in our funk, and to know when our thoughts and beliefs are not helpful to ourselves, but are not typically "crazy" or uncommon. We know inside what is right spiritually with a great inner wisdom, but often do not listen to our gut and inner smarts. I will teach you to trust yourself, not be a victim, recognize your strengths and stop thinking and acting in ways that get in the way of your happiness.

More Info About My Practice

When I do "spiritual work," it has nothing to do with religion. Instead, it is about honoring our Best Selves, our highest good, and learning to work through the family and society dynamics that cause emotional pain to get to what we know is best and how we want to act but are not yet able. I typically have my 26 lb. Lhasa Apso dog in the office who provides added warmth and empathy to my clients. I do a great deal with creativity, lighting up your soul to revive your spirit. I am also very good at ridding panic attacks quickly without medication. I speak truth, confront, hold you accountable and hold the line on responsibility. If you are motivated and want to make progress fast, my training is to provide short-term, dynamic therapy and resolve issues for good. Some insurances accepted. Cash, check, credit cards, debit cards accepted. (Credit Cards are accepted with service fees.) Please note that my credentials are of a Fully Licensed Clinical Psychologist--the highest academic degree in the field of Clinical Psychology. Please visit my website for more information.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

It is normal for all of us to want to "be strong" and look good and act normal. We push away pain. Unfortunately, what we try to avoid or not think about is what we end up obsessing about! Developing trust, sharing secrets that undermine our confidence, and sharing helps us work through things we are uncomfortable sharing. Each of us are different as professionals. It is vital to get a person who is well-credentialed, active in not only listening, but guiding us to deal with the things we wish to avoid. That is the way to resolve issues. Find out who you really are meant to be, rid beliefs that are not true and do not serve you, improve relationships, feel more peaceful and confident.
