Since I believe legitimate healing happens in the framework of relationships, I find that therapy is a great place to get organized and deal with the troubling parts of our lives. As we pour the jumbled jigsaw of our problems onto the table and start to turn over the pieces, we begin to get a grasp of the big picture. Sometimes losses in life need to be grieved and appreciated; other times proper boundaries need to be set; stresses and anxieties need to be handled; relationships may require release or restoration; or new decisions and choices need to be made.
I know that most relationships, spiritual, and emotional issues have their root in the past, and it is my wish to offer a secure environment to work through the past, look at the present with clarity, and make the important changes for the future.
My predisposition is toward helping marriages work, and my view of the world is distinctly Christian. Though my clients are not expected to embrace my values, I believe involving the spiritual element leads to better therapeutic wholeness and success.
