My Approach to Helping
Hi, and thank you for reading a snapshot of my work. After completing my undergraduate studies in psychology, I detoured into high-stress corporate fields of advertising and finance. Those years of experience and my own therapy kept me close to my interest in mental health. It led me to earning an MA in psychology to become a therapist. While at a nonprofit, I gained experience working with individuals, couples, and groups. I had a diverse client base and treated a range of concerns including relationship issues, infertility-postpartum struggles, supporting first responders and high pressure-performance professionals, chronic illness, immigration and acculturation, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
In this work, it is important for me that you feel seen, heard, and your voice upheld as a guidepost. Coming from a diverse family, I appreciate the complexities of building your self identity and having sense of self.
My current work often focuses on working with clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, couplesrelationship issues, and infertility. I also have experience with clients working in mental health, first responder, mediaentertainment, and high performance fields.
Supporting others in their walks of life is something I have always tried to practice. As a therapist, it is a privilege to help clients deepen their connections with themselves and others, move with more ease and choose the lives they want to live. I am happy to connect and see if we would be a good fit for great work together.
