Do you find yourself stressed out, tired, and emotionally exhausted with little to give? Are you having a difficult time creating time for yourself? Do you struggle with emotional eating, being "too busy", and a lack of energy or desire to move your body?
I believe that people are resilient to trauma, stress, and problems in their lives. You can have the life you want! My approach to helping includes exploring your strengths, your motivations, and your picture of what an improved life would look like. I will help you see "what's going right" by using positive psychology, motivational interviewing, mindfulness and solution-focused therapy approaches.
My goal is to help you "flourish" by overcoming obstacles and having improved health, well-being, relationships, and overall life satisfaction. I am a certified health and wellness coach as well as a clinical social worker. My approach to coaching is collaborative. We work together to get the solutions you want. My clients are creative and resourceful! I will be your champion and accountability partner. We will celebrate your success and help you overcome discouragement. I help my clients create stress resilience, eat mindfully, and learn to move joyfully. You can make peace with your body and like who you are!

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
We all have internal struggles and battles. Some of those battles are with the thoughts in our heads and behaviors we are trying to change. As a therapist I can help you explore your thoughts without judgement and help you recognize thought patterns and habits. It helps to have someone else to listen, explore, and give feedback and encouragement.
