What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I find it a privilege to be able to work with my clients as they address difficult problems in life. Being able to participate with my clients as they face and overcome their presenting problems is a rewarding and fulfilling aspect of my work.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

Although it is not required for a therapist to have gone through the same life events as their client in order to be therapeutic, I have experienced a variety of difficult and challenging experiences in my life. Because of these trials, I am better able to expand my understanding for what it must be like for my clients to experience their distress which brings them to treatment.
