My Approach to Helping
My approach is simple. I believe that you, the client, has the answer. I am here to listen and help you develop positive relationships and gain insight. There are times when we all need a little help. I believe in being real and authentic. Therapy is truly about the relationship between you and the therapist. I know it can be difficult to seek out therapy when you are feeling vulnerable. I encourage you to call me and ask any questions you have about therapy.
More Info About My Practice
Here is a little information about me. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from University of California, Santa Barbara in 1999 and my Master of Science degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Long Beach in 2004. I have experience in the Mental Health field working for a Non-profit Agency contracted with the Department of Mental Health. I have held several positions ranging from Residential Treatment to Outpatient Services. I currently hold a management position in the outpatient division in addition to my private practice in Long Beach.
