What's My Approach to Therapy?

You might be feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or like you’re carrying more than anyone really sees. On the outside, you’re showing up. On the inside, you might feel tired, disconnected, or unsure how much longer you can keep doing things this way.

You don’t have to keep holding it all alone.

When we work together, my role is to help you slow things down and make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. We’ll look at the patterns showing up in your thoughts, your emotions, and your relationships. If you’re coming in as a couple, we’ll focus on communication, understanding each other more clearly, and rebuilding connection in a way that feels honest and sustainable.

I take a warm, direct, and collaborative approach. That means I’m here to support you, but I’m also going to help you notice what’s not working and guide you toward real, practical change. We’ll build tools you can actually use. We’ll have honest conversations. And we’ll move at a pace that respects both where you are and where you want to go.

If your faith is important to you, we can also integrate that into our work in a way that feels grounding and aligned with your values.

My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling clearer, more supported, and more connected to yourself and the people who matter most to you.

My Practice & Services

I am part of Black Girls Mental Health Collective, a group practice committed to providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care for women, families, and communities.

Our practice offers individual therapy, couples therapy, and family support, along with access to support groups, workshops, and community-based programming focused on mental health, relationships, and overall well-being.

We prioritize making care accessible and affirming. Sessions are available both in-person and virtually across California, and we accept several major insurance plans. For clients seeking a faith-centered approach, we also offer therapy that integrates spirituality in a way that feels natural and supportive.

Our goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and equipped with tools you can actually use in your everyday life.

My Therapy Focus

My work centers on helping individuals and couples strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and navigate emotional disconnection. I support clients dealing with anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Whether you?re working through conflict, healing from past experiences, or trying to better understand yourself, our work will focus on creating clarity, stability, and meaningful change.

Groups I Work With

I work with women, couples, and families navigating the demands of everyday life while trying to stay connected, grounded, and whole.

Many of my clients are high-functioning, faith-centered, and deeply committed to showing up for others, whether that’s in their relationships, families, or communities. They are often balancing career, caregiving, and personal growth, and may feel stretched thin or unsure how to prioritize themselves.

I also work closely with couples who want to strengthen their relationship, improve communication, rebuild trust, or navigate life transitions together, including parenting, stress, and shifting roles.

In addition, I support individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, and relationship stress, as well as those navigating identity shifts, boundaries, and life transitions.

My practice is culturally responsive and affirming, and I create space for clients who want to integrate faith and spirituality into their healing process.
