My Approach to Helping
Are you having difficulty coping with painful emotions, traumatic memories, life circumstances and distressing thoughts? Using a compassionate, direct and non-judgmental approach I will help you create long-term, sustainable changes. By engaging in the therapeutic process, we can work together to build your awareness, insight, and understanding of yourself and your behaviors, creating movement towards self-acceptance and positive long-term change.
I utilize evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness-based therapies; emphasizing choice, and building resiliency and authenticity moves you towards your goals and living the life you want to live.
