My Approach to Helping

Engineering your vision into reality. Over time we have gotten used to the day-to-day routine and end up operating on autopilot. Job, kids, bills…what happened to passion, dreams, and the big picture?

Good news! Life doesn’t have to be that way. People are turning things around every day. You have heard the stories, one day someone just decided to click the pause button and changed the channel.

A new life narrative is inside of all of us. My job is to partner with you as you change the channel and redesign an aspect of your life.

During our confidential counseling or coaching sessions, you may feel excited, exhilarated, challenged, even tired, but, you will also feel safe and not judged.

More Info About My Practice

I work with individuals just like you. Together, we develop new tactics and methods, as well as strategize new habits to get you navigating life with added passion, purpose, and clarity. People have told me they desire a passionate life with gratifying relationships. They want to feel of value and make money doing something that is fulfilling. Men and women say they crave a life full of confidence and insight. That they strive to have the abilities to reduce anxiety, worry, self-doubt, and to be good spouses and parents. My coaching style will help you move out of problems and into the direction of solutions. I have over a two decades of experience guiding people through unique and common life challenges. These 20+ years of experience will be available to you as you design the best version of yourself.

During our confidential counseling or coaching sessions, you may feel excited, exhilarated, challenged, even tired, but, you will also feel safe and not judged. It’s about partnering with you as we design (or redesign) your life goal or purpose. I understand people come from a variety of backgrounds, have different values, and an assortment of preferred life perspectives. I offer a non-judgmental counseling style that accepts all possibilities. The linking factors are that we all want to be happy, feel connected to the world, and that we want to have a purpose.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

During our confidential counseling or coaching sessions, you may feel excited, exhilarated, challenged, even tired, but, you will also feel safe and not judged. Seeing you leave my office feeling more confident and comfortable with whom you are gives me energy. Hearing about your growth and positive changes lets me know I am doing my job.

I offer a relaxed office environment without judgment no matter where you come from or how you choose to live your life.
I will look at only those things you choose to share and gently nudge you toward your desired changes and improvements. I will listen to you with an opened mind in order to serve your needs.

Change seems to cause stress in several ways. First are uncontrollable changes that happen to us; for example, Divorce, job loss, empty nest, yourself or another family member diagnosed with an illness, other medical issues, growing old, to name a few.

A second kind of change stress is "desired changes," those changes we want to make but are feeling stuck or unmotivated to complete. Desired changes like, attitude changes, weight loss, quitting a bad habit, deciding to end a relationship, changing jobs, going back to school, losing weight, or starting an exercise program, are a few examples.
