My Approach to Helping

If you are finding yourself stuck in old patterns, dreaming of a better lifestyle, or feeling burnt out, then you have come to the right place. It can be overwhelming when we come to terms with areas in our lives that need some extra help; whether that be healing years of complex trauma or learning to change our negative thoughts so we can see ourselves and the world in a more positive light. In today's cultural landscape, especially living in Los Angeles, we are inundated with all types of stressors that can cause us to "numb" out to our emotions. Together we can take a look at parts of yourself that need some extra processing, protection, and practical solutions.

Therapy can be a transformative and rewarding experience with the aid of a compassionate therapist. From our initial meeting, we will spend a few sessions getting to know each other and formulating specific therapeutic goals. I can help you develop an effective treatment plan that will give you the tools to make long-lasting changes in your life. Through our work together we will use a combination of evidence-based practices, mindfulness, and depth-oriented approaches to help you overcome some of your greatest challenges. Humor, creativity, and a touch of sarcasm will be mixed in to help keep us human and grounded in our work together.

My areas of expertise include attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), EMDR, mindfulness/meditation, family systems, and relational theory with couples.

More Info About My Practice

I am happy to offer in-home sessions, please contact me to discuss further.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

I am happy to offer a free 15-minute consultation in order to answer any questions you may have. Even if it's just to get some information about therapy in general and you aren't ready to book a session at this time. My goal is to make therapy accessible and available to everyone.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

Unfortunately, there are therapists out there who do not do our profession justice. After our first session together, I invite you to provide me with feedback. I have the privilege of working with many different populations and I learn wonderful lessons from those experiences. If after our first or second session you don't believe we are a great "fit", let me know and I will happily provide you with a referral.
