My Approach to Therapy

Live the life you want to be living now! Whether you want to have more fulfilling relationships, work through past traumas, overcome your anxiety, grief, or depression, I will create a safe and trusting environment for us to work on creating a balanced, joy-filled life. It's never too early or too late to start living you best life! It's normal to be skeptical of change and doubt that things can get better. I have sat with hundreds of clients throughout the years and help the hope for them until they can see it themselves. I believe we're all capable and deserving of a joyful life. I specialize in working with clients who have experienced any kind of trauma in their lives. Trauma or unhealthy relationships tend to create long term pain whether it's in the form of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem or unfulfilling relationships. By examining and working through past pain and creating healthy beliefs and actions, we can work through authentic joy. My approach to therapy is using solution-focused tools to help you find relief from your immediate problems pretty quickly as we use some relational tools to break up old patterns that are not working for you and create new habits and beliefs that actually serve you.

My Practice & Services

I am the founder of Playa Vista Counseling, my goal is to create a welcoming environment and make therapy a comfortable process. Our team of therapists is here to help you regardless of scheduling and budget needs. We offer complimentary consultations to discuss how we can help. We are so committed to assist people find the right fit that we often will refer to professionals outside of our practice if we think that would be the best fit.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I enjoy working with anxiety issues and have a special understanding of them. I help my clients by creating a trusting environment and then assisting them to change their thoughts and beliefs in order to make their fears less disturbing.

My Guiding Ethical Principles

The most important part of the therapeutic process is your confidentiality. Without the anonymity that a therapist can provide, a client can not feel comfortable to explore sensitive and personal topics. I am fully aware of how crucial your confidentiality is and will do everything possible to protect it.
