My Approach to Helping

People often seek therapy when they are feeling overwhelmed with certain aspects of their lives. I help people to gain a thorough understanding of their reactions to others and to situations so they are better equipped to proceed in ways that are productive and beneficial to them. By developing a clear sense of their thoughts and feelings, they can begin to respond in ways that will improve their relationships and circumstances. They can also develop the skills to separate the past from the present, freeing themselves from patterns that are no longer serving them. When they are able to achieve a thorough understanding of their personal dynamics, they can rid themselves of obstacles standing in the way of achieving their goals. They can also begin to feel more empowered and influential in their interactions and decisions. The process of gaining a clear perspective is done without judgment, but rather by honoring strengths and self value. When levels of anxiety, depression and other forms of emotional discomfort decrease, opportunities are created for happiness and satisfaction.

More Info About My Practice

I offer phone, video, and office sessions, and because I hold licenses to practice in California and New York, I am able to accommodate clients who reside in both states. A Superbill can be supplied for insurance reimbursement for out of network services.
