My Approach to Helping
If you struggle with thinking about the worst-case scenario, negative self-talk, and often feel stuck, then you have come to the right place. I have been a mental health clinician for over 10 years, receiving my Master's Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. I am trained in EMDR, DBT, and CBT. In addition, I am a 500-hour certified yoga instructor and incorporate mindfulness, deep breathing, and self-compassion into my sessions. I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and stress related to balancing work and personal life.
I want to provide you with an action plan after every session. I want you to feel heard and know what steps to take to feel better. You will learn realistic coping skills to conquer the feeling of being stuck. I will guide you through coping skills, solutions to problems, mindfulness techniques, and realistic ways to feel better now.
