My Approach to Helping
Life has a way of making you feel out of control, anxious, depressed andor overwhelmed due to unavoidable life experiences. Therapy can help you process what is going on to help you make decisions, goals, andor changes that are beneficial to you and your needs. It is a place to share intimate details in a confidential and nonjudgmental environment as we work together to explore ideas, needs, stressors, and fears all the while identifying your strengths to help manage what life has thrown your way.
I enjoy getting to know my client’s stories and building on their strengths. I have handled a variety of situations, transitions, relational problems, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, risk-taking, self-esteem, and communications over the 20 plus years since becoming a social worker.
