My Approach to Helping
I believe therapy is a powerful tool on the road of self-awareness and I strive to help individuals achieve their life goals and address personal life challenges, at their own pace. I am passionate about helping clients become their true authentic selves by healing from past traumas and current life challenges, so they can enjoy their current life to the fullest.
I’ve been working in the mental health field for 5 years, treating individuals, couples, and families. I have experience in various therapy modalities including, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, narrative, mind-body awareness techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) among others, and addressing issues surrounding depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), and many other mental health conditions.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and received my master's in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. In my free time, I enjoy practicing mindfulness meditations, biodynamic breathwork and further increasing my knowledge in self-healing practices. I believe that a good therapeutic relationship is crucial for the client to feel free to explore deeper aspects of themselves, discover their strengths, and create meaningful lives.
