My Approach to Helping

I'm a Holistic Health & Life Coach, and Somatic Therapist located in Plymouth. I work with the body, mind and spirit, integrating life coaching, psychotherapy, spirituality, and holistic health based on my client's needs. I truly care about my clients, and will deeply listen to you with an open heart. I will respect you and believe that you already have inner wisdom that you need to guide you, and I will feel honored to join you on your path towards personal growth as you uncover your true potential!

As a life coach, I work with emotions, core values, and unconscious beliefs. I can help you create a clear vision of who you truly are and what you want in life, and I will partner with you, empowering you to find within yourself what it takes to make that vision your reality.

My specialty is in Somatic (body-centered) Psychotherapy and I have over 4 years of Somatic training. Working somatically calms the mind and increases awareness so that we can notice what's happening in the present moment. Things that were unconscious will start to come forward, giving us insight and the ability to heal. Many of us go about life stuck in our habits or unconsciously reacting to things that happen. Developing somatic awareness can help us become conscious of what's triggering our habits or reactions. This awareness will give us freedom, and the ability to break out of our old patterns.

More Info About My Practice

I also offer a Somatic Skills and Mindfulness Group.
The next group will start in September, 2021, and will be limited to 8 participants. We will discover together how our unconscious feelings, reactions, impulses, etc. can be sensed through body sensations, visual cues, body movements, etc. You will learn a new somatic skill or mindfulness technique in each session, which will help you feel more connected to your “True Self” and the peace and wisdom that come with it. You will grow in your emotional and spiritual awareness, lower stress, and feel more grounded and embodied. If needed, education will be given on the actual causes of anxiety and stress. We will also share experiences (related to the exercises) and support one another. In addition to using somatic awareness, we will also use the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model as a way to process thoughts and feelings that come up within the sessions. This group is appropriate for those who wish to feel more grounded, and wish to increase clarity, confidence, emotional or spiritual awareness, and connection to self and to others. The skills learned are also helpful for issues including anxiety, stress, ADHD, trauma, and spiritual crisis.
