My Approach to Helping
I help people with deep childhood wounds heal by increasing their self worth and self esteem, decreasing their anxiety, and finding peace and freedom in their relationship to themselves and others. I work with adults, adolescents ages 13 and up, and couples. I specialize in early childhood trauma and love to do inner child work, codependency issues, I specialize in ADHD, adult children of addicts, grief, and I am EMDR trained. I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients individual needs to help attain the personal growth they're striving for. I also am available to supervise LPCC therapists.
I invite you to bring yourself just as you are; as I believe every facet of the human condition is workable. I come from a contemplative background and work underneath the scope of mindfulness. I believe that underlying all of our neurosis and anxiety is a fundamental brilliance.
Therapy is a space to work on issues about life transitions, intimacy, difficult emotions, and other kinds of challenges that are part of being alive in the modern world. I offer in-person and virtual sessions.
