My Approach to Helping
I received my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University in 2016. For the past 4 years, my work has been focused on providing trauma informed care in correctional and hospital settings.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I specialize in the treatment of individuals, couples and families from a relational and systemic perspective. I enjoy working with individuals and couples who may be experiencing challenges, but are interested in healing and creating lives and relationships that thrive. I use a variety of clinical frameworks that can help people feel better about their relationships, lives, and themselves. My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life centered in peace and freedom. Although we can't change difficult experiences in the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve current life challenges. Through therapy, we will explore behavior patterns and perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I’ve worked with diverse populations treating extensive trauma around physical, sexual and emotional abuse. I believe strongly that old wounds can be healed and relational patterns can be rewired for a lasting and loving connection. I believe that fear and trauma can be transformed into growth for a life of emotional wealth that all individuals deserve.
