My Approach to Helping
With a Master Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from University of Maryland, and with more than 10 years experience locally and internationally, I have been helping numerous individuals, couples, and families overcome their difficulties. My work focuses on helping clients develop healthy coping strategies, identify strengths, turn weaknesses into competencies, and learn from the past by connecting the dots to present and future, so they learn how to develop their full potential and thrive.
More Info About My Practice
My office is conveniently located in Ellicott City near Route 29, and I offer regular as well as evening hours. I have had extensive training and have received certifications in addition to maintaining my current professional clinical license. I am devoted to serving my clients with some of the best treatment modalities anchored in the latest scientific approaches. My post-graduation professional development includes: Certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy, Certification Program in Advanced Trauma Treatment, for which I have obtained Level I and I'm currently working on completion of Level II, Training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), both Level I and II, and Training in Play Therapy. I am a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), as well as a Member of the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT - Canada).

One of my areas of specialty is helping couples either tuning up their communication skills or solving major issues so they overcome endless disagreements, prevail affairs, and learn how to emotionally reconnect and increase intimacy. I also have direct experience working with clients and their families posted at overseas locations through the Department of State, international non-profit, and profit companies as well as American International schools.
