My Approach to Helping

If you’ve gone through something hard, and you’re having difficulty enjoying things, experiencing intrusive thoughts, anxiety, depression, or just not feeling like yourself, I will listen, help you find your footing, and guide you toward feeling like yourself again. Using a warm and supportive approach, I help adult women and men at all life stages who are coping with trauma and life stressors, toward symptom relief and more peace of mind. I have a special interest in reproductive mental health, including pregnancy and postpartum, as well as reproductive loss and trauma, and I am trained and certified as a perinatal mental health counselor (PMH-C) by Postpartum Support International.

More Info About My Practice

I am a "client-centered" therapist in that I believe in your intrinsic capacity to heal with the right support. Within that framework, I use evidence-based tools such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems (IFS), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and more. I believe connection is healing, and use warmth, transparency, and humor, so it may feel like talking to a friend, who has the knowledge and tools to help.
