My Approach to Helping
Change is possible and I believe that all individuals deserve the opportunity to create positive changes that will impact them throughout their lives. My role in the therapeutic process is to help clients explore patterns of thoughts and behaviors that are negatively impacting their lives and provide them skills to gain more control and build healthy and meaningful relationships. I strive to provide a creative and collaborative environment by which clients can reach their goals in a relatively short time.
I have over ten years of clinical experience in working with individuals and families who are dealing with a variety of mental health issues including, depression, anxiety, trauma, dual-diagnosis and substance abuse. I use a cognitive behavior therapy approach in order to help clients learn skills they can use the rest of their lives.
