Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I have much experience working with a multitude of presenting issues. I work with adults individually and I specialize in relationship issues, whether they are between a married couple, dating couple, an engaged couple, concerns about an existing relationship, or those who have experienced heartbreak due to the end of a relationship. I also work with those who are experiencing loneliness in their lives whether they are, or are not in a relationship.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Counseling offers clarity. It pulls back the curtain on why one thinks the way one thinks, or behaves the way one behaves. What's more is that it is self-discovery, rather than someone telling you why you feel or act as you do. Counseling can offer a sense of freedom and control over oneself through this self-discovery. This is achieved through the unique counselor-client relationship, which is warm, comforting, accepting, and forms an alliance wherein being open and honest is safe. Finally, what is achieved in counseling sessions can be translated into your life, which brings about change, and a greater sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.
