My Approach to Helping

I am a friendly, approachable, caring counselor who shares your goals without judgement. I tailor my approach to counseling based on the personality of each of my clients and often use humor and positive affirmations to help guide the process of counseling. I offer unconditional positive regard to my clients through a client-centered approach where we get to know each other in a welcoming environment and explore your strengths and where you would like to improve.

More Info About My Practice

My office is conveniently located in Williamsville, NY at an easily accessible, but private professional location. It is a clean, safe, and warm environment to meet and talk.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I work with adult women individually and I specialize in relationship issues, whether they are between a married couple, dating couple, an engaged couple, concerns about an existing relationship, or those who have experienced heartbreak due to the end of a relationship. I also work with those who struggle to form or maintain lasting relationships.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Counseling offers clarity. It pulls back the curtain on why one thinks the way one thinks, or behaves the way one behaves. What's more is that it is self-discovery, rather than someone telling you why you feel or act as you do. Counseling can offer a sense of freedom and control over oneself through this self-discovery. This is achieved through the unique counselor-client relationship, which is warm, comforting, accepting, and forms an alliance wherein being open and honest is safe. Finally, what is achieved in counseling sessions can be translated into your life, which brings about change, and a greater sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.
