My Approach to Helping
Sometimes things happen and you just don't know how to handle them. I know it can make you very anxious.
Life can often be challenging. Perhaps you feel you've gotten "off track" and need some direction. You may be overwhelmed with things that have happened and don't know what to do or how to make it better. Perhaps you're wondering what's wrong with you and even whether you're crazy. You just don't feel like yourself or aren't content with your life. You want things to be different, you just don't know how to make that happen. You may want to reach out for help, but it's not easy to do that. You're not sure what else to do to cope.
Most of us feel this way at some point in our lives. Especially when trying to handle the stress of life, relationships and the impact of certain events all at once. Of course you feel overwhelmed! Of course your anxiety is through the roof! But there is hope. You are not alone. You CAN feel better. Sometimes it just takes finding the right support, discovering a new perspective, and learning a few new skills.
Hi. My name is Lesley, and I have spent the last several years helping people feel better, get back "on track" and get their anxiety under control so they can live a complete and fulfilling life. I truly want to hear your story and see if we can make it better. Please don't wait one more day. Call me today. I look forward to hearing from you!

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
What I love about being a therapist is the incredible resilience of my clients! It is truly remarkable to witness someone's transformation from a difficult or stuck place to one that is expansive and allows their deeper self to shine through. I am passionate about helping you reconnect and restore health on all levels. One of my mentors once told me that the human spirit is indomitable. My work with my clients has shown me that this is undeniably true. I would be honored to hear your story and share your journey with you.
On the Fence About Going to Therapy?
If the ambivalence comes from wanting to "find the right fit" with a therapist, honor that. Choosing the right therapist for you is very important and can take some time. You need to feel comfortable. You are worth taking the time to find a fit that's good for you.
If, however, the ambivalence comes from being unsure about working on the issues, that's okay. Calling a therapist is scary. I get that. Something in your life is not going well, and that's why you're thinking about therapy in the first place, so I would just encourage you to ask yourself this: if I don't make this call, what will be different tomorrow? Or the next day? Or the day after that? There is hope and things can get better... if you take that first step.
What Makes up a Problem?
Sometimes people struggle with the idea of reaching out for support because they don't really have specific "problems." Their lives are going pretty well, there aren't specific complaints, but their lives could be better, they want more for themselves. They have dreams and goals that they'd like to pursue, but they don't know how to start. That's where life coaching can make all the difference. Working with a life coach can help you uplevel your life, transform thoughts and beliefs that are no longer serving you, and help you create the life of your dreams!
