Knowing WHY is not always as important. Knowing HOW lets you create solutions.
Effective therapy uses approaches that allow you the use of your current strengths in developing more awareness on how to create solutions, feel good and calm down. Many patients have discovered that sometimes the "how" is more helpful than the "why." I have significant experience and advanced training in mindful cognitive behavioral, solution-focused and strategic therapies. I use relaxation techniques, clinical hypnosis, guided imagery and various other tools. Working collaboratively, we can generate a level of awareness and focus that often enables you to do something different for a change.
