What's My Approach to Therapy?
Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling lonely, misunderstood, or “different,” even when they’re surrounded by others. They’re deep feelers, big thinkers, and often outsiders who have spent years masking their emotions or editing themselves to fit in. My approach is grounded, compassionate, and trauma-informed, offering a safe space where you can finally stop performing and start feeling like yourself again.
I provide online therapy in California for adults dealing with anxiety, trauma, chronic loneliness, emotional overwhelm, self-doubt, and struggles with belonging. Instead of focusing on how to “fix” you, I help you reconnect with the parts of yourself you’ve had to hide: the sensitive, intuitive, curious, or intense parts that actually hold your deepest capacity for connection.
My style is warm, intuitive, and relational. I show up as a real person, meeting you with presence, humor, and respect. Clients often tell me that for the first time, they feel truly seen and understood, that being able to show up without fear of judgment or being “too much” allows them to breathe, soften, and open up in ways they didn’t think were possible.
Together, we explore the experiences that shaped your sense of isolation or “otherness,” while gently building the skills and self-trust needed to create authentic, meaningful relationships. As you grow more grounded, you may find that friendships deepen, communication becomes easier, and a sense of community begins to form around the real you.
Whether you identify as a misfit, a highly sensitive person (HSP), a creative, or simply someone who feels disconnected from themselves or others, therapy can help you reconnect with your voice, your needs, and your capacity for belonging. You don’t have to navigate life behind that invisible barrier anymore. If you’re ready to explore a more connected, authentic version of yourself, I’m here to walk with you, with care, curiosity, and a bit of laughter along the way.
