What's My Approach to Therapy?

A good therapist helps you find the answers to your own questions and works with you to remove the blockages to creating and living the life that you want. I challenge my clients in a warm, direct way that allows for empowerment towards health, happiness, meaning, and purpose. "Issues" that you come into therapy to resolve will be used as a platform for personal growth that will leave you feeling better than before you considered starting therapy.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

What I love most about being a therapist is the ongoing exploration of the human condition. As an existentialist, I?m drawn to the process of discovering and creating meaning and purpose. Working with clients challenges me to keep growing?I can?t guide you into depth without doing my own work. I value the genuine bond we build as we explore, together, what it means to be human and live a deeply fulfilling life.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

One of my favorite mentors, Rollo May, described those who seek therapy as often more sensitive and deeply responsive to life?s difficulties?and that this is a strength. It reflects awareness, not weakness. The impulse to question how you want to live, rather than follow the crowd, is a sign of intelligence and cultural evolution.
