My Approach to Helping
My approach to therapy is integrative and holistic, and stems primarily from my belief that each person holds the answers to their life’s mysteries and questions within them, and through a supportive therapeutic relationship, one can gain greater understanding of their own psyche, and improve their relationship with themselves and their loved ones. The way therapy plays out in the room will be slightly different within each therapeutic relationship depending on your unique needs. I work primarily from a Client Centered and Existential lens, while incorporating Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Relational Therapy, Spirituality (if appropriate and relevant for you), and humor. I also take into consideration each client’s personal world view that they bring with them.
My goal is to help you love and accept yourself, while you work on improving and evolving in the areas that are holding you back. I want you to find your unique voice in this world, live with authenticity, and find more peace in your heart, so that you can be more fully present and enjoy your life.
