My Approach to Helping
I believe that therapy is a collaborative process linking therapist and client. Whether you are going through a temporary hardship and looking for solution-focused work, or an ongoing issue requiring long-term therapy, we all need some help from time to time. We will work together in order to identify what goals you would like to work towards and formulate a treatment plan that best suits you.
The therapeutic process is a difficult one, which is in line with my life philosophy: in order to get through the hard times, one must work harder.
My general style is direct, honest, and challenging. However, the style and approach to therapy changes and are adjusted from patient to patient, depending on the needs of each individual patient.
Honesty and effort. The patient needs to be honest with themselves throughout the process, which is one of the most difficult things one must do. Additionally, the patient must give effort, however small or incremental; for without effort there is no progress.
