My Approach to Helping

If you experienced a trauma, struggle with anxiety or question your self-worth. Know that you are not alone and there is hope to make positive changes in your life. I have specialized training and experience on helping clients work through issues related to intimacy and relationships after traumatic experiences. I create a therapy space for cultural background, individual uniqueness, and sexual trauma. After a traumatic experience, it can be difficult to navigate your relationship with yourself and with others, including your intimate partners. If you experienced a trauma, struggle with anxiety or question your self-worth. Know that you are not alone and there is hope to make positive changes in your life.
I work collaboratively with clients to increase personal boundaries and build empowerment that will lead to lasting changes. I center the therapeutic experience on providing a nonjudgmental space to process & explore your inner dialogue and help examine those no longer serving you.

I can help dismantle the shame and fear you have surrounding addressing issues you think others will not understand or that you have felt misunderstood by, in the past. I am passionate about working with clients individually and with couples who have experienced relationship trauma and can help them get to a more empowered and thriving state.

My Role as a Therapist

My role as a therapist is helping my clients have my clients expand their knowledge of current or past behaviors to help make positive andor desired changes in their life. Therapists do not give advice but I can advise you on what I know and what research has shown to help my clients make informed decisions on their own.
