My Approach to Helping
If you experienced a trauma, struggle with anxiety or question your self-worth. Know that you are not alone and there is hope to make positive changes in your life. I have specialized training and experience on helping clients work through issues related to intimacy and relationships after traumatic experiences. I create a therapy space for cultural background, individual uniqueness, and sexual trauma. After a traumatic experience, it can be difficult to navigate your relationship with yourself and with others, including your intimate partners. I work collaboratively with clients to increase personal boundaries and build empowerment that will lead to lasting changes. I center the therapeutic experience on providing a nonjudgmental space to process & explore your inner dialogue and help examine those no longer serving you.
I can help dismantle the shame and fear you have surrounding addressing issues you think others will not understand or that you have felt misunderstood by, in the past. I am passionate about working with clients individually and with couples who have experienced relationship trauma and can help them get to a more empowered and thriving state.
