My Approach to Helping
I believe that anyone can change, at any time. Everyone faces challenges at different points in their lives, and it is what we do with these challenges that make the difference. I help my clients find their truth, identify and address their obstacles/issues, and move towards the peace and balance that is desired.
A person's journey of growth and healing is personal. My approach is non-judgmental, caring, direct, and geared towards the individual and their particular needs.

Fee per session is $125.00. Many insurance plans are accepted. Sliding Scale is available if needed.
How Psychotherapy Can Help
Psychotherapy helps people to understand their feelings, decisions, reactions, and behaviors. It also helps people work through, and release, emotions related to negative experiences. Psychotherapy helps people learn new and beneficial ways to cope with unwanted feelings and situations. The process of psychotherapy can be intimidating, and even difficult at times, but it is always worth it. A good relationship with the right therapist is often a safe haven for the client to release pent up thoughts and feelings, as well as become empowered.

I love being able to help people find their own strengths and believe in themselves. People are amazing and often have the answers within - they just don't always know how to find them. I help that happen.
Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist
The most important factor in choosing a therapist is feeling comfortable with the therapist. This can begin to be determined with the first contact. It is also very important to choose someone that has experience with, and/or knowledge in, the area of the issue(s) a client is dealing with.
