My Approach to Helping
My passion as a mental health clinician is an intentional one: to help navigate your wellness journey in a way that’s effective and authentic. I sincerely believe that no matter what we’ve been through, we are in control of how we narrate our lives. It is my goal to help you find and accept your true self.
Everyone’s path to recovery is different, which is why I help facilitate growth by creating custom treatment plans designed to reduce symptoms and stabilize mood. I use a comprehensive mental health model that addresses the whole person, including the physical, mental, emotional, and physiological aspects of each client. Using this carefully crafted method for behavioral change as my foundation, I help individuals, couples, and families effectively shift their mindset, leading to proactive coping skills.
Ultimately, my desire is to help you realize that long-term change is not only possible but also sustainable when it’s intentional and consistent. Learning how to identify triggers for negative thoughts and beliefs gives you the power to regain control of your life and give it new meaning.
For me, the importance of therapy is to recondition your perspective, build emotional intelligence, and educate you on how to better navigate life circumstances. I do this by teaching you successful tools designed to develop new neural pathways, empowering you to develop and manage healthy coping skills.
