My Approach to Helping
I believe each individual in therapy has the ability to make positive changes and grow. I will work with you to develop new thinking and behavioral patterns that promote well-being.
My passion lies in helping people reduce the fear in their lives. Fear may cause individuals to feel limited or restricted, and may prevent them from making the most of their opportunities. My goal is to help you experience more joy, peace, and freedom in your life.
In addition to my clinical training, my background as a yoga teacher influences my work and helps individuals in therapy connect with their emotions. I employ therapeutic techniques that are grounded in empirically-supported modalities such as dialectical behavior therapy, expressive/creative arts therapy, mindfulness approaches, and exposure and response prevention therapy.
