My Role as a Therapist

In my role as a therapist, my number one priority is to create a safe space for you where you are free to be your authentic self. A part of creating that safe space, is developing a solid and genuine therapeutic relationship. I provide a warm, caring, and relaxed environment where you are able to discover, learn, and rebuild.

Important Factors for Choosing a Therapist

It is essential you feel comfortable with the person you choose to be your therapist. The relationship you have with your therapist will likely be unlike any other relationship you have. You may tell you therapist things about yourself you may have never shared with another person. Studies have shown that it is the relationship with the therapist that facilitates the most change within a client rather than the treatment methods used. That being said, the person you choose as your therapist must be someone you feel comfortable and relaxed with. While it may take a session or two to get a good idea as to whether the therapist if a good fit for you, please take the time to find the right person for you.
