Life is hard. None of us gets through unscathed. There are journeys to take, decisions to make, losses to endure. Sometimes, confusion reigns. Sometimes, we get stuck. I am passionate about helping people feel better. I work with people to help them figure out how or why they are stuck, or sad, or angry, or any of an endless number of feelings that are somehow uncomfortable to face. It's a unique journey, and we take it together. I believe that problems in the present have their roots in the past, and that uncovering the origins of your feelings will allow for the beginning of healing. Ultimately, it is possible to feel stronger, improve your sense of Self, deepen relationships and rediscover your sense of well-being and optimism.

More Info About My Practice

In addition to helping people heal from depression or anxiety, or move forward in the signifiant areas of their lives, I am absolutely passionate about helping parents feel more confident.

Parenting -- the most important, least trained job there is. From the fatigue of sleepless nights with a newborn, to the exasperation that's often present with an adolescent, Parenting can lead to feelings of confusion, frustration, or even depression. Sometimes parents find themselves repeating the parenting style they experienced in their own childhood, even if they vowed to do things differently. If you are feeling overwhelmed about the demands of parenthood, don't wait another day ...

It doesn't have to be this way!

It is absolutely possible to feel more confident and optimistic, and to feel happier in relationship with your children.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Therapy is a journey we take together.

It takes courage to open up to a person you don't know and trust that they will be able to help. It can leave you feeling vulnerable, raw, uncertain. For me, that trust is sacred. I am gentle in my approach, and work at a pace that feels comfortable to you. Ultimately, it is about you getting to know yourself better. It is also about healing old wounds and being able to move forward with more energy and determination to create the life you want.

I am always honored to be invited on this journey, and I treat the journey, and you, with utmost respect.

I love being a psychotherapist because the process works!

Please don't wait another day feeling unhappy. Call me.
