My Approach to Helping
Are you going through a life transition - parenthood, empty nest, adult children, family member's or your own illness, separation/divorce or a significant loss, death or disappointment? Are marital arguments or relationship difficulties getting you further apart? Are you frustrated by your child's behavior or in managing his special needs? Life presents us with many challenges. I can help. You will feel calmer, happier, more satisfied and in control of your life.
Over my 25 years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have worked with many people who are have anxieties, fears and depression. As they became more self-aware and grounded, they are able to deal with their lives more successfully and effectively. I have also helped people with unfinished business from the past or traumatic events become more comfortable and freer so they can move forward with their lives.
We all have very hectic lives between work, family and other obligations that pull on our attention. Let's find time to focus on you and what matters most. Together we will engage in an interactive process that centers on your specific needs. I bring hope, safety and compassion to our therapeutic work. It takes courage and strength to take this step of asking for help. Wouldn't it make sense to have a complimentary consultation?
