My Approach to Helping
As a therapist, I feel I can be most helpful by promoting health, self expression, and awareness. I'm passionate about the powerful capacity to heal we possess as human beings. I love to assist others to feel more connected in their relationships, more confident to safely experience their feelings and emotions , and to be more prepared to cope with life's challenges with a greater sense of ease. My focus emphasizes cultivating compassion for ourselves and others, awareness of the connection between mind, body and spirit, and promoting self-respect and dignity.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Working with people who are seeking relief from emotional pain, conflicts, and negative patterns in their lives is an honor, and I love assisting people to access and discover within themselves the keys to their unique healing and wellness. I believe that we all possess this wisdom and that it can be identified and tapped into in order to expand our experience of aliveness, health, and love. I find that assisting people to explore and identify that wisdom is a privilege. My own growth experiences have enriched my appreciation for this journey and enabled me to trust the healing process and my own healing wisdom and is the source of my inspiration to assist others on their paths.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Therapy isn't necessarily for everyone, but most of us feel better when we express what's bothering us in one way or another, particularly when our feelings about our problems and concerns are seen as important by another person. A common misconception is that therapy is something we need when there's something "wrong" with us, but my sense is that we all have the potential for emotional growth and expansion that, once accessed, can assist us in facing our respective challenges as individuals with a sense of connectedness and belief in ourselves.
