I believe that we all have within us what is needed to move towards positive change and a strong therapeutic relationship can evoke the tools necessary to make that change. With the centerpiece of careful listening, I work with you to make sense of the core issues keeping you stuck. I use a style of therapy that works best for you, whether it be insight-focused, action-oriented, or something else altogether. We will work together to identify goals and concrete steps to get you to a place of positive change, increased self-awareness, and confidence. I welcome people of all ages, races, ethnicities, genders, and sexual orientations.

More Info About My Practice

I feel it is a privilege to sit with others and guide them towards life they want to live. I sit in awe of my clients who constantly come to the table ready to do the hard work and share it all with me. I received my MSW from University of California, Berkeley and am a member of MINT (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers). In addition to working with individuals in a private practice setting, I train clinicians in MI and CBT and am working on developing a digital therapy solution to increase accessibility to mental health services.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

Life is full of transitions that can make us feel lost, in limbo, and untethered. I specialize in working with adults who feel stuck in this space. These transitions exist in many forms: the start of a new relationship, a shift in career trajectory, coping with grief and loss, a desire to redefine yourself. My goal is to help individuals thoughtfully navigate these crossroads and arrive at a place of self-empowerment. While the reasons for entering into therapy are varying, I work primarily with individuals who are seeking support for depression, anxiety, trauma-resolution, relationship stress, and low self-esteem.

My Role as a Therapist

My philosophy as a therapist is one of non-judgment. I believe that you are the only one who knows your story and can identify the best next step. I see my job as meeting you where you are, and helping shine light down a path that will bring about positive change. I strive to work with my clients to increase insight into what they are hoping to change and what steps they need to take to get there.
